Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) is an affordable and exciting new advanced underground imaging technology using radio waves to record soil layering and many types of physical features buried under the ground and in man-made structures.
Our equipment is light-weight, portable, digital and controlled by an on-site computer system. This enables us to identify a variety of underground objects ranging in size, shape and form.
Depths of detection vary according to soil types and conditions and target size. They are normally from 0 to 5 metres but using special antennae it is possible to reach greater depths. Objects can be located and their depths, size, shape, orientation and position determined relative to the GPR antennae.
The results are available in real time and are able to be assessed on-site.
